Clean Slate – Explore the room you’re in as if you’re seeing it for the first time. Pretend you know nothing. What do you see? Who is the person who lives there?
How did that tiny room fit 3 people within it?
That little corner table is stacked with history books and novels, handwritten notes strewn across the table, and an old laptop with a freeze-frame of war documentaries. Military pins were mounted carefully on a cork board. Clearly an eccentric.
By the door stood a box of sports equipment. Weights, basketball, racquets, skates and more. Yet this wasn’t the property of a young sportsman – the basketball seems to be deflated, and dust has settled on the weights. A couch potato that was once a sports junky, maybe?
Someone else must reside in the same room – one who uses the piano that is decorated with a harmonica, home-made craft, and landscape photography. This person seems much neater than the previous two.
The three persons have clearly demarcated their own spaces for their activities. Maybe they don’t quite interact as well…
